For Sparwood Council
Experience to keep Sparwood moving forward
Four years ago, I asked Sparwood for the opportunity to serve on Council.
I am asking for the opportunity to put four years of municipal experience to work.
I am focused on practical priorities, responsible spending, long-term planning, and being honest about what municipal government can actually deliver.
My Priorities
Housing
More housing choices for families, workers, and seniors, while making sure growth contributes fairly to infrastructure.
Commercial Growth & Economic Development
Grow our business and industrial tax base, support existing businesses, and create room for new investment.
Challenge costs and priorities before asking taxpayers for more, while protecting the services our community relies on.
Urban Wildlife Management
Reduce attractants, improve prevention, and use better reporting and practical enforcement to reduce encounters.
Recreation & Community Infrastructure
Improve the facilities we already have, build reserves, and pursue the bigger vision responsibly. (including waste pickup frequency...)
Infrastructure & Responsible Growth
Maintain what we own, plan ahead for major replacements, and make sure new growth contributes fairly.
Emergency Preparedness & Resilience
Prepare before emergencies happen through mitigation, planning, partnerships, exercises, and community readiness.
Advocacy & Partnerships
Push for Sparwood's priorities with other governments, pursue provincial and federal funding, and build the partnerships needed to move them forward.
